The Chief Human Resources Officer will lead all efforts around talent during a time of tremendous growth and increasing business complexity.  The CHRO will be responsible for leading the entirety of the Cascade Human Resources function, including cultural strategy, recruiting, organizational structure and development, compensation, benefits, employee relations and engagement, and learning.  This leader will report to the CEO and will be a member of the company's executive team. 

 

How you'll do it:

  • Overseeing all aspects of HR for a 300 person organization: compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, retention, rewards and recognition, performance management, culture, learning and development, onboarding, management training, organizational and leadership development.
  • Leading the organization, along with the Chief Executive Officer and executive team, in development and communication of a human resources agenda that supports and aligns with the company's business goals and growth strategies.
  • Developing progressive performance management, compensation and benefits programs to provide motivation, incentives and rewards for effective performance and high accountability.
  • Spearheading the creation and execution of the Cascade talent strategy implementing robust and consistent practices to enable the business to attract, develop, retain, and reward top talent,
  • Ensuring effective employee relations and HR compliance/controls throughout the organization.
  • Enhance communications to all employees to improve the level of trust, transparency and alignment with leadership.

 

What you'll need to join Cascade:

  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university. MBA or MA/MS in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of HR experience, with at least five years of executive HR experience and at least five years of multi-state HR experience.
  • Highly proficient in the technological aspects of Human Resources including systems for on-boarding, applicant tracking, employee data and reporting (HRIS), performance management, employee surveys, benefits administration, etc.

 

Other desirable qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership, good communication skills, superior influencing skills and the ability to establish credibility at all levels of the organization. A business-minded leader with previous experience serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, with a constructive yet courageous point of view
  • Early-stage experience as an HR leader in a fast-paced, fast- growing organization, ability to be hands-on in personally building and executing
  • Highly collaborative with a strong operational orientation
