The Sr. Loan Serving Developer will provide specialized technical and business knowledge to multiple application development and enhancement projects. The role will have primary responsibility for the development and functional capability of the company's Mortgage Servicing Software interfaces, and data exchange with various internal departments and third-party vendors. He/She will collaborate with other team members to define requirements and system interfaces, assess available technologies, and develop and present solutions.

 

How you'll do it:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software for business-critical services.
  • Meet with internal customers, and make software enhancements as needed to improve operational workflow.
  • Maintain project schedule, deliver high quality solutions, and communicate with groups in, and outside, the development/IT team.
  • Understand the procedures and expected system performance associated with the introduction of new technologies, while seeking ways to collaborate with team members and business technologists, and facilitate transitions.
  • Ensure on-time product delivery, and work with the team on system performance optimization, interoperability issues, and system security.

 

What you'll need to join Cascade:

  • Four-year college degree preferred; may be substituted with a real estate mortgage servicing background and/or experience with Enterprise Software administration.
  • 5+ years' experience in software development.
  • Experience with the preferred but not required, LoanServ, imaging systems, customer website and CRM telephony integration. 
  • Working knowledge of .NET technologies: C#, Windows Forms, ASP.Net, WCF, MVC.
  • Familiar with iterative software development methodologies e.g. RUP, Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • Solid experience in design and development with JavaScript, JSON, with understanding of HTML5 & Angular JS, and Responsive UI Design.
  • Understanding of Browser-based & HTTP Developer Tools.
  • Some functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with REST APIs.
  • Experience developing and imp RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with Data Warehouse/Data Lake technologies.   
  • Background with PowerShell and PERL.
  • Ability to deliver working solutions on a tight schedule.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing tech.
  • Software Development QA/peer code review experience.
