Since first opening our doors in 1999, Cascade Financial Services has grown to become one of the most trusted lenders in the manufactured home lending industry. Our goal is to help thousands of families realize the dream of home ownership by offering mortgage loan solutions customized to the manufactured housing marketplace leveraging state-of-the-art business automation coupled with the most skilled professionals in the industry.

What we're looking for:

We need someone who's motivated by the hard problems, who is quick on their feet, detail oriented and creative in their approach.  Our team is motivated by the fact that our efforts impact real people, from our customers and their desire to own a home, to our skilled staff charged with seeing that our customer's goals and ours, align.

As a QA Analyst, you will work with business users, development and applications engineers to define, grow, maintain and own the test suite for all of Cascade's customized business applications.  Your primary focus is in functional testing to ensure our applications are reliable, fully functional, user-friendly, and meet the standards and guidelines set for each system.  You'll collaborate across teams and across departments to set QA priorities and identify opportunities.

What You'll be Doing

  • You will work closely with the Configuration Analyst and Development teams to antagonistically test system customizations, enhancements and configuration updates to each Cascade system.
  • A good deal of your time will be spent reviewing business and functional design specifications so that you fully understand the deliverables of each project.
  • You'll design, create and maintain reusable test plans so that you can react quickly to common changes to supported systems.
  • Intermittent errors are some of the most costly and difficult to resolve. Your role will help to isolate and replicate these errors for our configuration and development teams.
  • You'll work closely with IT department leadership to identify potential risks in each project along with recommended strategies to mitigate them.
  • Because you're the kind of person that's never satisfied, you'll continuously work to improve and refine your testing plans and procedures.
  • You will constantly work to break the applications we support using exploratory and negative testing methodologies.
