Job Purpose:

The Junior Processor is responsible for assisting the Senior Loan Processors in gathering and organizing information for the loan file. Make timely follow up calls to quickly compile accurate file information.



  • Order services needed and as directed by Sr Processor for file packaging
  • Follow-up continually on all requested items, and work in efficient manner
  • Work with vendors, AMC's, title companies, banks, etc. to gather the necessary information for a complete loan file
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan documentation necessary for loan approval and closing
  • Research information through various websites
  • Other duties as necessary including learning all federal and state mortgage compliance laws
  • Progress through phase training to advance to Sr Processor as positions open (estimate 1-2 years as SR Processor position opens)


Knowledge & Experience:

  • At least one year in a professional setting
  • At least two years in an administrative or customer service position
  • Experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment
  • Knowledge of mortgage or banking practices helpful, but not required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and employees to create a positive and cooperative work environment
  • Ability to adjust easily to work situations based on employee, group, or business needs
  • Excellent listening, organizational, and time management skills, and ability to learn quickly.
